If it passes that Chamber President obama said he will sign it immediately. The bill keeps federal funding more or less at current levels through next september except for homeland of security. Funding for that is only approved through the end of february. The house passed a bill moments before a funding deadline that could have led to a Government Shutdown today. Despite the down to the wire maneuvering that was actually no real threat of a shutdown. Thats because the house after the spending bill vote also passed.
