Dec 14, 2020 - 07:00 pm By Sipho Mlotha Swallows FC head coach Brandon Truter has revealed how the ambitious club lost out on two former Mamelodi Sundowns stars. Brakkies has confirmed that the Beautiful Birds were interested in former Bafana Bafana defender Clayton Daniels as well as Wayne Arendse. Both players were recently released by their respective clubs SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns and are currently available on free transfers. The Cape Town-born duo are vastly experienced and were almost snapped up by Swallows, who are currently in their maiden top-flight season. However, Truter has since explained what curtailed their interest in the two centre-backs.
