The Republic Day parade in India will feature 100 women artistes playing Indian musical instruments instead of military bands for the first time. The parade will also have increased representation of women in the Indian Air Force flypast, marching contingents, and the cultural show. French President Emmanuel Macron will attend the parade as the chief guest, and French fighter jets and marching contingents will participate.
