(Photo from Pichai Lertpongadisorn Facebook page) The Pheu Thai Party has won nine provinces including Chiang Mai where its candidate Pichai Lertpongadisorn defeated arch-rival Boonlert Buranupakorn in Sunday s Provincial Administrative Organisation (PAO) elections, according to an unofficial count. The main opposition party is thought to have won PAO chairman elections in nine provinces out of 25 it contested. The provinces were Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Phrae, Lampang, Nan, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothon and Mukdahan.
