In 2000, while working with Reliance in the SAP implementation, Prasad Rajappan, a law-abiding citizen, received a notice from the Income Tax Department. He was terrified and could not understand the issue. “It struck me that despite being educated, we are unaware of our obligations towards the country,” he said. What followed was his first venture called www.FileMyReturns.com with an objective to simplify the process of tax filing for a convenient and hassle-free experience. They later expanded into Payroll outsourcing and finally offered a full-suite of HRMS solutions, now called ZingHR.
