RHONDOR DOWLAT-ROSTANT
Construction workers carrying out work at the Port of Spain General Hospital on Wednesday got a shocker when they dug up skeletal remains.
The discovery was made at about midday at the western side of the hospital compound where construction currently is ongoing.
The employees notified the police, and the bones were seized.
Police said the bones were taken to the Forensic Science Centre in St James to undergo testing, to determine whether the bones are in fact human or animal.
