PORT ANGELES — A small amount of suspected methamphetamine has been destroyed and a search of the Franklin Elementary School playground found no other drugs, said Port Angeles Police Sgt. Kevin Miller.
Thursday’s snowfall kept North Olympic Peninsula law enforcement, road crews and public transit agencies busy overnight as snow began falling in the late afternoon and lasted into the evening.
The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office says it worked with the Port Angeles Police to arrest a woman who had three outstanding Lower Elwha Tribal Court warrants on Dec. 30th.
A Port Angeles man arrested in connection with two alleged drive-by shootings last week now faces two felonies after Clallam County prosecutors refiled charges following further investigation.
