paper all of this over. it does have an effect. ethic stories do matter. they don t like, people do care. you can t hide it. you have to remember, the guy is at 40% approval and did win the popular vote. in terms of who got swindelled here. the populous, academics argue what that s one of the most accepted is pop limp as a political tactic, not a philosophy. it becomes a of socialists, that is the reality. yes, there is corruption, the wealthy can take advantage of the poor, and rights we are
welcome back. i m hugh hewitt. you can hear me monday through friday on salem radio network. saturday mornings i m here on msnbc. joined again by my panel. it looked in the first time we were talking about as though nothing was going to happen. no to the 21. no to the idea of arming teachers. what about fixing nicks. that seemed to have the cornyn murphy bill. the president seemed to have nodded to it. has that going to happen? that has at least some chance of happening, i think, hugh. it is a very difficult situation because of all the changes that my fellow guests have said here. the status around this issue has been very powerful historically. i think you were mentioning earlier on about president trump and his pop limp or his capacity times to read the pulse correctly. i think he may be right about one thing here, which is people
conversation in the van. it s a mini van. it is a mini van. maybe a bigger van later. and you get a chance to hear real people have a real conversation right there in the van. at the same time, you know, we re trying to bring in other people. with the rise of donald trump, pop culture took over politics. now politics is taking over pop culture. we have jay-z going to be on talking about what the heck is going on from his point of view. a little pop limp, a little pop stars. the idea is to take a step back on the weekend and really reflect what s going on in a deeper way with voices you don t hear very often. are you going to have him in the van and do karaoke? if i do that, i might get sued. that s another show. listen, i m excited about this. in politics, you used to have to be a news nerd in the corner reading the new york times . everybody is talking about

of running as a bannon type candidate you have to pledge in advance publicly, as they have done, to get mitch mccouple out of majority leader. he has no reason to help roy moore or to go above is and beyond to save the seat. is we haven t seen the field jacket. he can read polls like everybody else. but we haven t seen him out there playing his populus warrior. the president wants to get the tax bill done. pop limp can wait. something to this that is interesting. you hear it from some people close to the president. wait a minute, you want to tell a guy who could actually win this race we re going to rig the rules so we can get him out of the race? what about democracy, all of these people hollering about authoritarian tactics. establishment tricks. now you use the tactics to get him out of there?
