NAACP Boulder County has asked the Boulder Police Oversight Panel if it has the power to investigate the background of Interim Police Chief Stephen Redfearn.
The removal followed a monthslong dispute that highlighted community disagreements between law-and-order groups and social justice organizations across the city.
