The spate of road accidents in Ghana is really appalling and an eyesore indeed. As more and more people are purchasing automobiles, the record of road accidents just keeps increasing day by day. As a matter of fact, this is one of the country s headaches. With the population increase and roads getting narrower, accidents remain inevitable. Nonetheless, there can be certain measures put in place to curb the menace of road accidents Ghana s Police Motor Transport and Traffic Department reported in December 2019 that about six people die from road accidents here in Ghana every day. This translates into a huge number of deaths caused by road accidents each year.
