Acting Police Chief Michon Morrow said the department currently has about 100 body cams, which have to be shared among officers. Now each officer will have one.
The City Council approved a five-year contract for Lincoln police to get 250 new body cameras and 333 new Tasers, with technology police say will help them be more accountable.
