DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Oak Brook Chief of Police Brian Strockis announced today that bond has been set for a Cook County man accused of leading police on a 100-mph high-speed chase. Chevelle Carter, 31 (d.o.b. 2/18/1992) of the 12000 block of S. Ada, Calumet City, appeared at a bond hearing Sunday morning where Judge Anne Hayes set bond at $75,000 with 10% to apply.
Bond has seen set for a trio of individuals accused of leading police on a high-speed chase after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Oak Brook T.J. Maxx.
Bond was set Wednesday for three people who led police on a high-speed chase after they allegedly stole merchandise from a Nordstrom Rack near the Oak Brook mall.
