A charity is warning plans to open a nature reserve at the Point of Ayre will be disrupted by continued use of a tip in the area.
Wright s Pit North in Bride will remain operational in 2020, after the Department of Infrastructure failed to secure an alternative place to dump construction waste.
It has long term plans for a new site at Turkeylands in Malew, but couldn t find a suitable interim location.
Manx BirdLife says the prolonged use of Wright s Pit North will affect its plans to open the reserve, and wants to know about lorry movements and the types of refuse being dumped.
