Motilal Oswal expects net interest margins to expand by around 20 basis points over the next two years to 4.4 percent in FY26 because of declining borrowing costs and a slight expansion in yields.
The company is betting aggressively on the affordable home loan segment. "We started the affordable housing business a year back, and in the last 11 months we have reached loan book of Rs 1,000 crore," said Girish Kousgi, MD & CEO of PNB Housing Finance.
