The Senate Blue Ribbon committee will start today its inquiry into the reported outbound smuggling of foreigners at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport that exposed security vulnerabilities in the country’s main gateway.
The Philippine National Police insists there was irregularity in the departure of a private jet from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last Feb. 13 without undergoing pre-flight inspection by the Aviation Security Group.
Senators are demanding a thorough investigation into the alleged aborted human trafficking incident at the airport last Monday and that “heads must roll.”
