Santa clara supervisors are debating why the Fire Department is not responding to medical calls faster and what to do about that fact. Many degree the department has broken the contract and promise to the county. Senator that clear county pays san jose fire to respond to medical calls within eight minutes but over the year the goal has been met only 80 percent of the time. The Fire Department blames staffing and budget cuts but supervisor would was running for mayor of san jose wants the Fire Department held accountable. We went response times improved.
