jeremy, to you, down ballot is as krouscrucial as the top of t ticket right now, the potential that the senate could make a huge shift going from red to blue. is mark kirk the first one down in case that happens? i think mark kirk was probably if not the most vulnerable, one of the top two or three most vulnerable republican incumbents. this struck me as really odd, peter, because this doesn t sound like mark kirk. you have to imagine that inside his head, the pressure of being down and close to losing your seat really must be getting to him. but i do think that the larger issue here is just how big of a wipeout it could be on election night for the republicans. i know there is a growing concern that once there s a growing concern that it s not going to be just, you know, pennsylvania that they lose, just new hampshire, just north carolina, that this will happen in a sort of domino effect. that if you start to lose
