All day â The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum in Leadville continues its interactive exhibit about the
mining history of California Gulch.Â
The exhibit, overlaid on a 1992 painting of California Gulch as it appeared in 1910, includes information about geology, mining operations and comparisons of the area then and now.Â
Viewers can click on parts of the painting to learn about different aspects of mining at California Gulch.Â

1 p.m. â Salida Musuem, 406½ U.S. 50 reopens to the public for the season. Museum hours are from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Sawyer Free Library is now open for select onsite services, six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and Thursdays from noon to 7 p.m. Visitors should keep visits to 30 minutes or less. The library has implemented extensive preventative measures and controls to keep staff and patrons as safe as possible. All staff and visitors must wear masks, practice physical distancing and all public spaces have limited capacities.
Express Public Computer Stations are available first-come-first-served for 30-minute sessions. People needing public computer access for more extended periods may check out a Chrome Book or an App Sampler Tablet along with a three-hour Wireless Hot-Spot.
anywhere, you put that on the building and you re ready to go. people see it. it s classy yet comfy. suggest add few directional signs and banners would eliminate confusion about where to go. we want them to come in and go yes, i m in the right place. opportunity to use graphics and photos. aaron s graphics came from new pictures which made the products look fantastic. also offered to show jackie some photography basics so she could update product shots herself. just using her cell phone. basically what i ve got set up here is a basic lighting system that anybody can build. just from parts from a hardware store. i built some basic stands out of wood. i bought some $10 shop lights with clamps and put daylight temperature led bulb. will give you the most true color. your smart tone, which we re going to use today, doesn t have to try to balance the color.
