Miss Philippines Samantha Bernardo has landed in Thailand for the Miss Grand International 2020 beauty pageant and she’s the first candidate to arrive!
Wearing a face mask and the Chut Thai, the traditional garment of Thailand created by Cyrus Gueta Couture, Bernardo waved the Philippine flaglet as she arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.
“I’ve safely landed,” said Bernardo on Facebook.
The beauty queen from Palawan City will also begin today, Feb, 24, the mandatory 14-day quarantine for candidates before she and the other girls kick-off pre-pageant activities.
Some 70 candidates from around the world are expected to compete in the 2020 Miss Grand International contest. The grand finals will be held on March 27, 2021.
