Court Dismisses No-Case Submission Filed By Late Gospel Singer, Osinachi s Husband, Asks Him To Produce Defence

A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja on Tuesday dismissed the no-case submission defence filed by Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of Osinachi, the late gospel singer. The defence was rejected by the trial judge who ruled that the prosecution had established a case against the defendant. The Nigerian government had filed a 23-count charge against Nwachukwu over the death of Osinachi, his wife.
