Huron Perth Crime Stoppers and police are asking for the publicâs help with the following incidents.
On April 27 police were called to a Winthrop Road property in Huron East where a landowner had discovered two women attempting to break into a house by attacking the door with a hatchet.

One is described as in her early 20s with blond hair and a medium build, while the other is described as having shorter black hair and a medium build. They were driving a grey Volkswagen Passat.

Huron Perth Crime Stoppers and Huron OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a recent copper wire theft.
Between Feb. 28 and March 1, 15 generator wires (50 feet in length and three inches in diametre) were stolen from a gravel pit on Summerhill Road in Huron East. The wire was valued at $15,000.

A saw was used to cut the wire.
