During her eight-year tenure in the C-suite at Nationwide, King made inclusion, and documenting its contribution to the bottom line, a key part of the company’s human resources strategy, and it paid off.  “What we have seen over the last eight years is that as our engagement increased, our inclusion index increased and our performance increased,” King says. “We’ve clearly been able to see that there was a direct correlation in having a culture that values all people and having everyone giving their best work to being included to the bottom line.”
