Christmas Country Church Tour

<b>Perry County Heritage Tourism</b> will once again hold its annual <b>Christmas Country Church Tour</b> this December.<br/><br/>In its 18th season, <b>this free, self-guided tour</b> allows you to create your own unique trip among 37 rural churches scattered about the countryside of Perry, Cape, Bollinger, and Ste. Genevieve counties. (KFVS) - Possible new additions to Perryville are in works, that will give you the chance to enjoy one another while outdoors. “I think that our outdoor spaces have never been busier than they are the past year,” said Chad Suetteerer. In 2019, Perryville native Chad Sutteerer and his wife took an 8-month trip around the west, where he fell in love with the outdoors. “We decided that if we were going to move back, we wanted to bring that here if possible,” said Suetterer.

(KFVS) - Nineteen churches across four counties and two states open their doors for people to visit as part of the 16th annual Christmas Country Church Tour. From the Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson to the Kaskaskia Immaculate Conception Church in Illinois, you will see old fashioned Christmas traditions and decorations. Perry County Heritage Tourism Director Trish Erzfeld said it was a tradition that must go on and most of the churches were excited to be a part of it.
