The Pierre Rural Volunteer Fire Department was also called to a chicken coop fire in the Grey Goose area. Information about that fire will be forthcoming.

The annual Tour of Homes fundraising event for the Pat Duffy Community Youth Involved Center in Fort Pierre has changed to a virtual tour this year.
From December 17-25, the Lee Real Estate Facebook page will feature photographs from five homes in the Pierre and Fort Pierre area and is asking people who take the virtual tours to donate to the Center.
Community Youth Involved Center namesake Pat Duffy says they’re thrilled to be able to keep this decade-long event going. She says they appreciate any donations to help keep their youth programs going.
