jackie: races in michigan and new york tighten, democrats are sending big names to pennsylvania, obama and biden will campaign on john fetterman s behalf on november 5. carley: thank you, let us bring in pennsylvania candidate jeremy shafer, good morning to you. we want to talk about the race in a moment, first to the debate between fetterman and oz, how do you expect it to go and what would you like to hear the two candidates discuss? yeah, first i m glad they are having this debate, in the first place. there was talk pennsylvania voters would not be able to see this debate. pennsylvania voters are suffering, inflation and crime are rampant and they want to hear solutions. i know dr. oz has been talking about that, looking forward to hearing his ideas here even more.

neck-and-neck race. bryan llenas is in philadelphia ahead of the fundraiser this evening. what have you heard? good morning. there will be a fundraiser tonight here in philadelphia. the president will be attending behind closed doors for john fetterman but not before they go to pittsburgh to publicly appear together to tout the bipartisan infrastructure law. the senate race here is a toss-up. the latest aarp poll finds fetterman s lead dwindled to two points over republican dr. oz. it was a six-point margin in june. the most important issue for pennsylvania voters inflation and rising prices. the average price of a gallon of gas in the commonwealth is $3.94 higher than the national average and up 42 cents from last year. rising energy costs has fracking back on people s minds.
story this year is crime. every democrat seems to be hiding the biden bunker strategy, dumping tens of millions of dollars on republicans in negative ads, and don t want to debate until like a week before election day, until all the early voting had taken place. what should republicans do? well, i think you re being really too hard on john fetterman. here s what happened. he went to the store. and he tried to put some car in his gas. and he couldn t afford it. then he tried to put a bag in his groceries. he didn t have any pocket in his money. and as a result of that he decided that he would just kick some balls in the authority, but the message for pennsylvania voters is don t put the senate in john fetterman. it s all you ve got to do to understand it s a mixed metaphor, but if the people of pennsylvania can t see through this and realize he has no business going to the senate, and it s not because of his mixed metaphors, but because of
