friend eugene daniels. eugene, let s talk about this speech. the president has been hitting a lot of economic themes in recent days, but the white house is pointing to tomorrow in chicago as the centerpiece. what will he define as his economic policy, and why do they think it is so important to talk about this now? for those of us who have been paying attention to the president for years at this point, it ll sound similar probably to what we saw in pennsylvania when he was talking to those union workers, talking about inflation coming down, unemployment being down, wages being up, those kinds of things, because they feel like they have a really good argument to make here. that they have been doing a lot. the economy is better under joe biden. that he has made strides. they have some facts to back that up. the thing that most white house aides would tell you and officials and people just close to biden in general is that they haven t done a really great job of continuing to sell this
