A 51-year-old hiker from Montreal was rescued Friday night after she fell and slid 25 feet while descending a steep and icy section of the Falling Waters Trail in Lincoln.
“It was pretty steep and icy,” said Conservation Officer Jonathan Demler of New Hampshire Fish and Game. “She had a footing issue and fell. It wasn’t a long fall, but enough to cause an issue.”
