Faculty member earns Fulbright support to develop film in Poland and Israel

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. An award-winning faculty filmmaker in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State has received a Global Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Poland and Israel, the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board recently announced.
For the third straight year, Penn State students have the opportunity to show off their artwork as a part of the Centre Film Festival.
Penn State students are asked to submit their work for the chance to make the poster for the 2021 Centre Film Festival. Students can send in their portfolios and/or websites to
[email protected], along with a short explanation of their interest in film and the festival. The deadline to submit is May 15.
The Centre Film Festival is hosted by the Centre Film Workshop, an organization founded back in 2019. The idea was to start an organization that focuses and brings local films and other multimedia storytelling into the spotlight. The festival is directed by Penn State professor and
