Sycamore police confirmed Friday that a reported bomb threat at Jewel-Osco grocery store on Peace Road was determined to be unsubstantiated this week. Similar threats were reported at other locations across the region including Minooka.
DeKALB – Peace Road commuters can expect easier driving after October but will have to endure road construction in the meantime. The current construction on Peace Road will take place between the tollway of I-88 and the intersection of Fairview Drive. The construction done on this segment of Peace Road will be repaved and widened.
