According to Johns Hopkins university, the total stands at more than 3. 2 million. That is more than the individual populations of 21 states, washington, d. C. , and puerto rico. The number of new cases and hospitalizations just keeps going up. Only a handful of states are seeing decreases. The states there in green, theyre mostly in the northeast.
