High school athletes in Washington are learning that the hard way.
It seems that every time the executive board of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association meets, the end result is more waiting.
The board met on Dec. 15 and decided to wait three weeks before making decisions on resuming high school sports, hoping the additional time would provide better clarity on how to proceed.

1. Nebraska cannot sustain success
There’s a reason that it’s been 15 months since Nebraska has won back-to-back games and 13 months since doing in against two straight Big Ten opponents.
Dating back to the first half of the 2016 season, the Huskers have been unable to maintain any semblance of consistent success. One step forward, two steps back has become the program’s hallmark over the past four years, and Saturday was yet another example of why.
