Using the Chase brand, the bank will provide products and features tailored to meet the needs of customers in the U.K., delivered via an innovative mobile app.

WATERVILLE The City Council on Tuesday was not ready to take a final vote on a plan to remove three Colby College properties downtown from the current downtown tax increment financing district and place them in a new TIF district, instead voting to postpone a decision to the next council meeting Feb. 2.
New City Manager Steve Daly said the city is trying to identify what the revenues from a new TIF district may be used for and is working with an expert the city has used for years to make sure that when the TIF request is sent to the state, the city has everything in order.

WATERVILLE The City Council is expected to consider a final vote Tuesday on a tax increment financing district for three Colby College properties in downtown Waterville, a move expected to generate revenue that could be used for other purposes, including downtown parking management.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and be livestreamed from a link at the city’s website www.waterville-me.gov. Those wanting to take part in the meeting must contact the city clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Tuesday to receive log-in or call-in credentials.
Waterville Planning Board delays recommending short-term rental rules
While the board has worked on putting together regulations for short-term rentals to recommend to the City Council, members said they were not ready to vote Monday night, instead launching a subcommittee to work on the issue.

WATERVILLE The Waterville Planning Board decided it was not ready Monday night to make recommendations to the City Council on what regulations the city should have in place for short-term rentals, though members have worked for weeks on the issue.
Instead, the board decided to form a subcommittee, headed by Planning Board member Steve Crate, and come back with proposed rules and regulations Nov. 2.
