The outstanding 2020 Regular Season of the Green Bay Packers produced a division title, a number one seed and first round playoff bye. Great team acco.

GREEN BAY â For a team known for its offense â and with good reason, since that crew was leading the NFL in scoring entering Saturday night â the biggest play of the Green Bay Packersâ 24-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers came from the guys on the other side of the ball.
It came with 7 minutes, 39 seconds left in the first half, with the Packers up 14-3 but the Panthers in prime scoring position with first-and-goal from the Green Bay 1-yard line.
But when quarterback Teddy Bridgewater took the snap on a quarterback sneak, he tried to reach the ball over the goal line for a touchdown and had it knocked from his grasp by Packers inside linebacker Krys Barnes. Cornerback Kevin King scooped up the loose ball and returned it 48 yards to the Panthersâ 47-yard line.

GREEN BAY – The Packers have made a habit of scoring on their first drive in 2020, and that continued Saturday night.
In the 24-16 victory over the Panthers, the opening possession started a strong first half and is the Chevy Drive of the Week, covering 81 yards in just seven plays.
An incomplete pass from their own 19-yard line to start things was the only play that didn t go right for the Packers. From there, QB Aaron Rodgers hit RB Aaron Jones for 9 yards on a swing pass, and then Jones followed by busting through a big hole on the right side for a 46-yard run, his third-longest of the season.

The Packers took a stumbling offensive step closer to securing the number one seed in the NFC with a harder than it should have been 24-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers Saturday night at Lambeau Field. After scoring touchdowns on each of their first three possessions in the first half for a 21-3 lead, the offense mustered only 49 total yards after intermission adding a 51 yard Mason Crosby field goal and getting timely help from the defense to thwart a Panther comeback in moving their record to 11-3 and still in control of a first round playoff bye.

After some of the events recently in the NFL, I keep hearing fans claim that they could do better. I obviously know they couldn t, but it got me wondering. If you had to do one of the following in an NFL game, what would you choose: A) run a quick slant and try to catch a bullet from Favre in tight coverage, B) play QB in an obvious passing down with Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers coming off the edge, or C) get a handoff on a run up the middle against Nitschke and the Packers of the 60s?
