THE VEGABONDS Release New Single "Heartache and a Memory""

The Nashville-based alternative southern rock band THE VEGABONDS are ready to get back to what they know – releasing kick ass new music and touring around the country, having logged more 400,000 miles over their ten-year history. New single, “Heartache And A Memory,” is out today with their new full-length studio album, Sinners and Saints, set for release on September 24, 2021 through Blue Élan Records. Also announced this week, The Vegabonds will join 240 other musical acts at this year’s AmericanaFest 2021 taking place September 22-25 in Nashville, TN. New single, “Heartache and a Memory,” deals with a painful split using Richard Forehand’s twangy guitar and an R&B ache as singer/lyricist Daniel Allen croons, “We’re putting off the hurt, to cover up the pain.”

Fire Extensively Damages Ellesmere Drive Home

(Photo: Courtesy of Code 3 News) Fifteen people have been temporarily displaced after a fire in a two storey home on Ellesmere Drive. Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says they arrived at around 4am this morning to find fire on the inside and outside of the home. Bruens says it was a challenging fire to fight because it spread quickly to the attic and soffits of the home.  The windchill temperatures also made it more difficult for the 15 firefighters on scene. He says they had to open up the roof to fully extinguish the flames, and the home is extensively damaged.
