Covering the corridor in cedar rapids, dora miller, cbs 2 news. While some areas of the corridor are still cleaning up from the last flood, forecasters already are working on the next one. One. Cbs 2 news anchor matt hammill was there when the theIowa Flood Center and National Weather service met today in cedar rapids. This of course one of the big areas of concern near the cedar river. As we just found out in september the next flood could be next century or next week. Week. Either way the flood center and Weather Service says we can all make ourselves more aware of the risk in our own neighborhoods. The Iowa Flood Center now displays what are called flood inundation maps on its website. Inundation maps on its website.
