Michigan Totaled More Coronavirus Cases in Past Two Weeks Than Texas, California Combined

Michigan Totaled More Coronavirus Cases in Past Two Weeks Than Texas, California Combined On 4/26/21 at 11:40 AM EDT Michigan has become the country s coronavirus hot spot, with 91,000 new infections in the past two weeks, more than the cases in Texas and California combined, according to the Associated Press. This makes Michigan s infection rates the highest in the country as 4,698 new cases were reported on Saturday, adding to the state s total of more than 800,000 COVID-19 cases to date. The numbers are going up. We know wearing a mask is our best strategy for keeping infection rates down for COVID-19. So help end this pandemic and mask up until more people are vaccinated, Michigan s Department of Health and Human Services tweeted Monday morning.
