On June 16, she released a statement online, writing: “This should come as no surprise however I am excited to make it official and announce I will be running for re-election on Fort Saskatchewan City Council this fall … It’s been just over 4 years since I announced I was running last time. It has truly been an incredible experience. I owe a tremendous amount of appreciation to the professionalism and experience of Team Fort Sask for helping me through the learning curve that is a municipal government, they have my deepest respect.”
