DuPage County Board member Amy Chavez has announced she s resigning from her seat, setting up a tight schedule for the local Democratic Party to fill her spot on the November election ballot and get a successor s campaign off the ground.
DuPage County election season officially got underway Monday with a Democratic candidate dropping out of the top local race, primary battles brewing on the Republican side and a few other political twists.
