The shares of edible oil and packaged food products firms might further rally on bourses in the near future amid expectations of rising demand for their products. Adani Wilmar stock gained 5 per cent to Rs 770.05 against the previous close of Rs 733.40 on BSE. Shares of another edible oilmaker Patanjali Foods were stuck in the upper circuit of 5 per cent during the afternoon session today.
