The City of Cornwall might become home to a lot more community gardens in the near future.
Cornwall council received an update during its Monday meeting regarding bylaws that relate to community gardening and urban agriculture. Presented by Kathleen Rendek, project co-ordinator with the city, the update offered a specific definition for community gardens.

Event organizer/moderator Kat Rendek welcomed gardening expert Pat Lucey for the first of three hour-long webinars this month, the start of the seventh-annual Seedy Saturday that features all-things-gardening, but is a pandemic Plan B for the second year in a row.
The live event, titled Plan Your Garden and Support Local, kept things basic for the most part, but Rendek and Lucey did get into the weeds at times, addressing specific issues while alternating between slides and answering questions from the chat box.
