As Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect throughout Texas, travel is near impossible in many locations due to ice-covered roads.
One fire truck in San Antonio fell victim to these hazardous driving conditions as firefighters attempted to respond to a structure fire on Wednesday morning.
Engine 39 was traveling northwest at the intersection of Wetmore Road and Thousand Oaks Drive shortly after 2 a.m. when it hit a patch of ice on the road.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church in New Ulm.
The funeral service will be live-streamed through the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home’s Facebook page starting at 11 am on Tuesday.

SAN ANTONIO – Authorities have identified a man who was shot at an apartment complex in Live Oak and later died at a hospital.
Police said DeShaun Adriel Moorer, 23, was pronounced dead at Brooke Army Medical Center on Monday, a day after the shooting at the Navona Apartments in the 13100 block of E. Loop 1604 N., near Pat Booker Road.
A person found Moorer on the floor of an apartment with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said. Moorer was not able to provide information to police officers.

SAN ANTONIO – A man accused of fatally shooting a person while he was “high on acid” has been arrested, according to Live Oak police.
Imond Martise Woods, 22, has been charged with murder following the incident on Sunday at a Northeast Side apartment complex in the 13100 block of E. Loop 1604 N., near Pat Booker Road.
According to an arrest affidavit, a witness called the police after he heard gunshots and found an injured man lying on the floor inside an apartment unit. The man had been shot in the chest, police said.
