V Suvitha: According to corporation officials, in Madurai West zone, two bus shelters are planned at Thirunagar (3rd stop) in ward 94 and at Pasumalai in ward 93 at a total cost of around 8 lakh each. A conventional bus shelter is planned in ward 88 at Anupanadi of East zone at a total cost of around 3.5 lakh. Separate tenders for constructing the three bus shelters have been called for and the construction will be started in a month after bidding, said a senior corporation official.
