RBC Capital has raised its price target for International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (LSE:IAG), the owner of British Airways, from 195 pence to 200.
Indian Railways: Railways is expected to surpass the revenue target of INR 1.5 lakh crore, with freight earnings reaching INR 1 lakh crore. Despite falling short of the annual growth target, railway officials remain optimistic about achieving the goal, as economic activity is expected to pick up post-monsoon. Passenger revenue has reached INR 43,101 crore, with an increase in earnings from reserved passengers.
SANTIAGO (Reuters) -LATAM Airlines on Monday posted a third-quarter net profit of $232 million, boosted by higher passenger revenue and a turnaround from a loss in the same period last year when the carrier was still in bankruptcy proceedings. The profit, which topped an analyst consensus, reverses a year-earlier net loss of $296 million, with passenger revenue jumping 26%. Available seat kilometers (ASK), a measure of an airline's seats multiplied by kilometers flown, rose 15%, with recovery seen especially in international flights, LATAM said.
The FTSE 100 closed Tuesday up 0.07%, outperforming European peers. The index is holding up well, largely due to the continued weakness in the pound and a belief that a weaker currency and higher.
