Governor Phil Murphy today renominated current Secretary of State Tahesha Way to continue in her role for his second term. Per the New Jersey Constitution, the Secretary of State must be formally nominated each gubernatorial term. The Secretary’s renomination will now go to the Senate for confirmation.
