Boxing with Democrats? Could be. The old "rope-a-dope" boxing strategy could prove useful in politics. Some contend that this method of tiring out an opponent through passive inaction then landing a strategic punch could work for the GOP in the near future, particularly if President Biden nominates a far left replacement for retiring U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer.

Let s Have a Bourbon Party | Opinion Ilya Shapiro
, Director of the Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies, Cato Institute On 2/16/21 at 7:30 AM EST
Two weeks ago, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) tweeted, The Republican Party is no longer the wine and cheese party. It s the beer and blue jeans party. That echoed Sen. Josh Hawley s (R-MO) election night tweet that Republicans are a working-class party now.
Such a re-conceiving of the Party of Lincoln is a big mistake, and not in terms of policy or even ideology. Setting aside the category error of equating cheese with jeans, there are two serious problems with Jordan s framing.

ThyBlackMan.com) According to The New York Times (and when have they ever been wrong about anything?), the Republican Party is now firmly in the control and sole identification of a freshman congresswoman from Georgia who has been on the job for four weeks and literally has no influence or responsibilities other than to the voters of her district who just elected her.
Really?
Well, clearly then, it’s Maxine Waters‘ Democratic Party now, right?
Rep. Maxine Waters was present at an event honoring Louis Farrakhan, the foremost purveyor of hate speech in America. Farrakhan has referred to the Jewish people as “his enemy,” has said he “pulled the cover off that satanic Jew,” and has said of the Jewish people, “Your time is up, your world is through.”
