now it s time for a look at the weather with ben rich. hello. it s yet another day of sunny skies for most and temperatures into the 30s. we still have amber extreme heat warnings from the met office covering northern ireland, parts of southern wales, the midlands and into the south west of england. we re seeing some of the highest temperatures today across these western areas, values into the low 30s celsius. further east, it is quite a lot cooler for some of these north sea coasts, where we re keeping more and although most places are dry with sunshine, we ve got one or two scattered thunderstorms which will rumble on into the evening. 0vernight will bring more of this low cloud in across northern and eastern scotland, eastern coasts of england. these are the overnight lows by the end of the night, 17 18 degrees, so not a particularly fresh night, a bit tricky for sleeping. and then as we head into friday, still rather cloudy for some of these eastern coastal areas. lots of sunshine
