This decision puts thousands of Californians in limbo as they are forced to pay high out-of-pocket costs to continue visiting Dignity Health locations or find alternative options.
Over the last several months, Dignity Health has been working in good faith to reach a new, responsible contract agreement with Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) that puts patients first, and keeps Dignity Health in-network for PHC members.
A Dignity Health statement noted it had been working to negotiate a “new, mutually beneficial contract” with Partnership over the last several months focusing on prioritizing patient care and maintaining 24/7 access to its facilities, providers and services for Partnership members.
