Jan 28, 2021 2:03 PM Hal D. Hoppa, age 74 of Holland, passed away on January 27, 2021. Born and raised on a farm and a farmer for the first part of his life, Hal never was afraid of hard work. He worked at Brooks in Holland and later at Parmalat in Grand Rapids until his retirement. In his retirement, he put his knowledge for tinkering to good use and worked at Menards, helping others with their projects. During his free time, Hal was a talented woodworker and enjoyed traveling. Above all, Hal was a family man, who cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hal was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Beatrice Hoppa, and granddaughter Rielle.
