Parents of some students at the Parkinson Memorial School are concerned that face-to-face classes have resumed despite no clarity yet on why some students and teachers fell ill suddenly last Wednesday.
However, the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) has indicated it is satisfied that the Ministry of Health and Wellness is
working towards finding the source of the problem.
Classes resumed
Face-to-face classes will resume at the Parkinson Memorial School tomorrow Monday, February 6, the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has announced.
Last Wednesday, some students and teachers on a particular block at the school complained of feeling unwell and had to seek medical attention. This resulted in the closure of the Pine, St Michael facility last Thursday and Friday.
