Park’s Motor Group has confirmed that it closed the doors to one of its Nissan dealerships after a number of employees tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.
The dealership on Corsehill Mount Road, has undergone a process of decontamination and cleaning after it was shut to customers last Tuesday following a number of positive tests among its workers.
In a statement issued to the Irvine Herald, the AM100 car retail group said: As a result of a number of positive tests amongst a group of staff at our Irvine dealership, we took the decision to close the site from Tuesday to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers and the local community.

Park’s Motor Group’s BMW Hamilton dealership has claimed the German premium car brand’s Retailer of the Year award for 2020.
The Hamilton-based AM100 car retail group, which also claimed the franchise’s Regional Group Retailer of the Year award and Aftersales Award, impressed across a range of categories including Aftersales, Marketing and Financial Services, BMW said.
Park’s Motor Group head of brand, David McBennett, also received a personal award for his dedication to the industry and impressive leadership at the annual BMW Retailer of the year awards, which was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
